Painted 'Big Burtha'
So, while I have been working on setting up this blog, Tim has been busy painting the 'Big Burtha' sideboard that I bought the other day well cheap, and wanted to paint it, as it was really dark wood and made the whole room darker.. We used some small tester pots that we found in the cupboard, over the top of 2 coats of white emultion. Really happy with the outcome. It may need another top coat, and waxing? Not too sure how well you can see from the photo, but the draws are all slightly different tones of creams, stones and light blue. I saw something on e-bay ages ago using different shades for the draws but using blues, and really liked it, of course it was really expensive. Heres one we made earlier!

First Post
Its finally time that I started a Blog, if not for anything but myself to keep track of projects and crafty things that I make and want to make, in the hope that if I diary it, then it will spur me on to make more and actually finish. Write about things that are in the stages of making, new fabrics, that will one day be something, and patterns that I want to make. I want it to be a place where I can also write about other things influencing my life, from things I find, things I'm doing and places I go to.
